A little while after the Buu saga, Piccolo sensed a strange force heading
towards Earth. He could tell it had a power greater than Vegeta and Goku
put together, and they didn't seem friendly. He immediately went to talk
to Goku.
Meanwhile, Gohan was
trying to explain to Videl how to manipulate energy, and wasn't doing to
well. Videl couldn't understand what Gohan kept shouting in order to shoot
out a powerful Ki blast. Something like Kami Himi He something. Gohan was
getting very frustrated, but he had promised Videl he would teach her it.
He had long since regretted he had promised her anything. Suddenly, Gohan
sensed Piccolos Ki heading towards them. He was glad that his Nameck friend
was coming, but not at the speed he was going, it was as if he was being
chased by Buu. Gohan shuddered at the thought of the pink monster who had
caused so much havoc on Earth. He and his friends were going to wish that
all the memory of Buu was erased from the memories of the people from Earth,
but they couldn't do it until the Dragonballs returned from stone a few
months from now. Meanwhile, the Z fighters were relaxing after the great
battle.
Piccolo
finally made it to Goku's house, and was surprised to see Gohan with Videl
again. Piccolo wondered why Gohan was spending so much time with her, but
decided to forget about it. After all, Videl was a pretty good fighter,
for a human.
Gohan called out to Piccolo a greeting, and asked why he got here in such
a hurry, and Piccolo replied that Gohan should get the other Z fighters
and meet him at Karin Tower.
Two hours later, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, Chaotzu, Vegeta, Trunks, Bulma,
Chi Chi, Goku, Goten, Piccolo, Dende, Yajirobe, Gohan and Videl, were gathered
at Karin tower. Vegeta was complaining on how he didn't appreciate Gohan
barging into his gravity room while he was struggling with 200 times gravity.
Videl was wondering why Vegeta was being so crabby, and Gohan replied he's
just not a morning person. Piccolo told them of him sensing an unfriendly
force heading towards Earth, and that he thinks that each of them should
head into the room of spirit and time for special training, two at a time.
First up was, Goku and Goten. Videl couldn't understand how a day on Earth,
was the equivalent to one year in the ROSAT. Gohan just ignored the question
cause he didn't half understand it himself. He was starting to worry on
whether Videl could handle the room, and Piccolo reassured him that she
could handle it. Just them, as if things couldn't get any worse, came Mister
Satan mad that Videl hadn't returned from Gohans house, and demanded that
she return home. He also mentioned that she was grounded. and was not to
even speak to Gohan for a month. Of course, this means Gohan will have
to find another partner, but because no one else was going, he'd have to
go in himself. Videl called a good-bye to Gohan, and apologized about her
dad's change of heart. The next day, it was Gohans turn to go into the
room. Chi Chi hesitated in letting Gohan go in alone, but gave in in the
end.
A year, or a day later, depending on where you were, Gohan returned from
the room of spirit and time. He seemed really beat up, but his Ki overwhelmed
even his dad. He was surprised to see Videl had snuck out of the house.
She simply said being able to fly comes in handy sometimes.........
